Eastern Bank has announced the appointment of Denise LeMay as Senior Vice President and Head of Foreign Exchange and Derivative Sales within its Commercial Banking division. Ms. LeMay brings over 25 years of expertise in advising corporate clients on managing interest rate risks and designing complex financial strategies using derivative instruments.

Prior to this role, Ms. LeMay was the Senior Vice President and Treasury Capital Markets Trading Manager at M&T Bank, where she guided clients in using derivatives for risk mitigation, collaborated on hedging strategies, and contributed to the transition from LIBOR to SOFR. She also led the interest rate derivatives program at People’s United Bank, transforming it into a significant revenue stream and serving on the LIBOR Cessation Steering Committee.
