Eli Newberry Memorial Fishing Tournament Set for October 24 at West Boggs

The Eli Newberry Memorial Fishing Tournament will be held October 24th at West Boggs Lake, with check-in beginning at 6 a.m. and the tournament running from 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Organizers say there will be a 25-boat limit and are encouraging teams to pre-register rather than wait until tournament morning. Raffle and 50/50 tickets are also available. Applications are also being accepted for the Eli Newberry Memorial Scholarship, which supports college-age students pursuing their education and career goals. Organizers hope to announce this year’s scholarship recipient at the tournament.
