Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" has secured a 21st week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, moving within one week of tying the chart's record.
The song, released by SAWGOD/Columbia Records, first reached the top of the Hot 100 in February. It now trails only Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You," which has spent 22 weeks at No. 1.
For the tracking week of August 28-September 3, "Choosin' Texas" generated 24.5 million official U.S. streams, up 1% from the previous week, along with 58.1 million radio audience impressions, up 2%, and 7,000 sales, up 6%.
The track also holds the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Streaming Songs chart for a 21st week, giving it the second-longest reign in the chart's history, ahead of Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road." Carey's holiday classic leads that chart with 26 weeks at No. 1.
Meanwhile, "Choosin' Texas" continues its dominance on Hot Country Songs, where it has now led for 39 weeks.
