The Lawrence County Emergency Management Agency received a nearly $10,000 grant to purchase eight Automated External Defibrillators, or AEDs, to place in all seven county senior centers and a populated county building.
“There’s one additional AED, and I’m going to ask the county commissioners where they think it should go,” said Lawrence County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) Director Steven Carlton. “I’m trying to think of the most populated county buildings we have. That would be either the historic courthouse or the judicial building downtown.”
