The Erie County Public Library is asking residents to help shape its future by reviewing and providing feedback on its draft strategic plan for 2027-2031.
The proposed plan outlines six key goals designed to guide the library system over the next five years. Priorities include promoting the joy of reading, strengthening literacy throughout the community, and creating welcoming, inclusive spaces for all residents.
The draft also focuses on enhancing library services, supporting staff growth and development, and ensuring the organization's long-term financial sustainability.
Library Director Jessica Spitulski said the plan reflects the needs and priorities identified by the community and is intended to strengthen the library's role as a valuable resource for Erie County residents.
Community members are encouraged to review the draft plan and share their feedback. Public comments will be accepted through November 9.
