Expeditors International Appoints New CFO
Expeditors International of Washington, Inc. (NYSE: EXPD) has announced the appointment of David A. Hackett as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective October 1, 2025. Hackett, who has been serving as Vice President of Finance since May 2024, will succeed Bradley S. Powell, who informed the company of his upcoming retirement, effective September 30, 2025.

President and CEO Daniel R. Wall highlighted Hackett's integration into the company's operations, noting his close work with Brad Powell and involvement with global teams. "Dave has seamlessly adapted to our finance and accounting functions and aligns well with our corporate culture," Wall stated. "His extensive financial expertise and leadership skills give us full confidence in his ability to lead as CFO."
Wall also commended Powell for his 17 years of dedicated service, overseeing the company's financial stability through challenging times such as the 2008 financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic.
