GSM Studios creates five immersive worlds for Exploria in Singapore
Exploria at Mandai Wildlife Reserve in Singapore is a 10,000-square-metre immersive nature experience designed to reveal environments that visitors could never encounter directly, from prehistoric ecosystems and microscopic life to deep-ocean darkness and extreme climates. Developed by Mandai Wildlife Group with GSM Studios leading concept development, design and production oversight, the permanent indoor attraction opened on 3 March 2026 as one of Southeast Asia’s largest nature-themed multimedia experiences. Instead of displaying living animals, Exploria relies on spatial design, responsive media, physical models and interactive storytelling to translate inaccessible natural systems into a sequence of environments that can be entered, navigated and understood.
The journey is organized around Our Interconnected World, a central hub that links five distinct thematic realms and introduces the idea that apparently separate ecosystems remain dependent on one another.
