Day 5 of Blackout August has arrived, and I've successfully navigated the weekend without making any purchases—an achievement that feels quite significant. Typically, I do most of my Second Life shopping on weekends, so this streak is boosting my confidence that I can entire month without retail therapy.

Exploring New Tools and Presets

If you're participating in this challenge alongside me, today might be a good day to explore something new. Have you tried the Aperture Viewer? Currently, it's the only viewer I use for Second Life. I spent time creating various photo presets using the Aperture Phototools Suite. Unlike EEP settings, these presets allow for enhanced color vibrancy, depth of field effects, glow adjustments, and more. I'm working on figuring out how to share these presets with others.
