Due to the forecasted weather conditions for Saturday, the decision was made to cancel this year’s Family Safety Day at Central Park in Warsaw.
The safety of the vendors, participants, staff and community members is the top priority, according to an announcement provided by the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory. Given the potential for inclement weather, they felt cancellation is the best decision.
“We sincerely appreciate your willingness to participate and support Family Safety Day. This event would not be possible without the time, effort, and support of our vendors and community partners, and we are very grateful for each of you. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to have you join us again for a future Family Safety Day,” the announcement stated.
