When November and December roll around and it’s time to hunker down and watch some comfort shows, one thing I always say is, I wish my comfort show, Gilmore Girls, had more holiday episodes. Sure, there are plenty of winter-themed ones, but very few—what, maybe two or three?—that focus on true season’s greetings. The one thing that makes up for it? There are plenty of Gilmore Girls advent calendars to add holiday vibes.
Last year, I got one from Insight Editions—and it was filled with 12 days’ worth of Gilmore Girls trinkets—from coasters to a keychain and ring holder. The best part? It was shaped like Lorelai and Rory's house—and the lights actually lit up. All it was missing was a little figurine of Lorelai saying, “I smell snow” to be the perfect gift for a Gilmore fan.
This year, the same brand has come out with a new version, and this time, it’s a pop-up calendar.
