Fatboy Slim has announced an outdoor Australian tour for 2027

Norman Cook will play seven open-air Australian shows across Fremantle, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne next March.

Fatboy Slim has announced a seven-date Australian tour for March 2027, with Norman Cook set to take the dancefloor outdoors across Fremantle, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Happy Mag reports that the run will favour urban open-air spaces over conventional arenas.

The tour begins in Fremantle on 3rd March before three nights at Sydney’s Carriageworks. Cook will then play Brisbane as part of the city’s On The Banks open-air concert series, closing with two nights at Melbourne’s The Underpass, a newly opened outdoor venue beneath a freeway.

“For this tour to Australia, I wanted to get up close with my people, play venues with real atmosphere and have a proper party!” Cook said. “Bridges, rivers, parks, old railway sheds – if it’s a bit weird and the sound system’s loud enough, I’m there.” The Underpass is a notably literal fit for that description.
