FC Fassell Announces Bosnian National Amir Alagic as New Head Coach MONROVIA, LIBERIA: FC Fassell has officially appointed Amir Alagic, a Bosnian national, as their new head coach. Alagic succeeds Belgian coach Avin Minnaert, who has reportedly taken charge at Uganda's Vipers Sports Club. The 65-year-old coach brings a diverse coaching background, including prior management of the Sri Lankan national team. The club has signed Alagic to a one-year contract, and alongside his appointment, FC Fassell introduced several foreign players, such as Moroccan fitness trainer Diffaa Hassani Al Jadidi, at their Monrovia headquarters. These additions aim to bolster the squad ahead of the CAF Champions League and Liberia's LFA 2025-26 season. Alagic arrived in Liberia early Wednesday to lead FC Fassell in their campaign to reach the CAF Champions League group stage and to contend for the Liberia Football Association First Division title.
