Fieldcode has expanded its field service management platform with new controls for organizations managing operations across multiple dispatch groups. Dispatchers can now select multiple groups within Fieldcode's operational workspace and view the engineers and assigned work across those groups together. At the same time, enhanced user administration controls allow organizations to define which users individual roles are permitted to edit.
The update addresses an operational challenge for larger and distributed service organizations. Work may be divided by region, customer, service area, or operational unit, while dispatchers still need visibility across several of those areas. Administrative access, however, may need to remain limited according to individual responsibilities.
