According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. and New Line are actively developing this new chapter. The upcoming film will be penned by Lori Evans Taylor, who co-wrote 'Bloodlines,' promising continuity and fan appeal. Production will be overseen by franchise creator Craig Perry, alongside seasoned producers Sheila Hanahan Taylor, Jon Watts—director of 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'—his wife Dianne McGunigle, and Toby Emmerich. Warren Zide is set to serve as an executive producer.
Potential Directors and Release Date
While the director has yet to be announced, there is speculation that Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, directors of 'Bloodlines,' may return to helm the project. Fans are eager for updates as the film moves closer to production, expected to release around August 2025.
