Speaking to VGC at Tokyo Game Show 2026, Final Fantasy 7 Revelation director Naoki Hamaguchi has confirmed the game’s file size: roughly 200GB. That’s a significant jump from the two Blu-ray discs Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth shipped on. It’s also why Square Enix confirmed that physical copies of Revelation will need to download extra data on every platform, which is only shipping with a single disc despite the massive size.
