WEST BEND — This year marks the end of an era in the West Bend School District, as it will be the final West Bend East vs. West High School homecoming football game, and the WBSD is asking for all interested alumni to take part in the final East and West Homecoming Parade on Oct. 9.
"We invite East and West alumni from every graduating class to come back and be part of the final East/West Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 9," said a social media post from the WBSD. "Gather your classmates and create a class float or walk together as a class."
The West Bend East and West Homecoming Parade will begin at 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 9, and alumni are encouraged to take part and make new memories while wearing their "vintage" spirit wear, according to the post.
"This is your chance to come home and be part of the final chapter of East and West," said the post. "This year, we’re celebrating it all one more time."
