(Photo by Leila Kheiry) On a blistering hot afternoon, a group of physicians, partners and local officials gathered at the construction site for the new Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine facility in Fishers to sign a beam that was then raised and installed in the frame of the building, marking the “topping out” of the facility, set to open in 2027.
Guests took turns signing the beam Sept. 3 before a short ceremony at the construction site, 13680 Jack Walker Lane off 136th Street close to the Southeastern Parkway roundabout.
During a short presentation before the beam was raised, Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness said it’s an exciting time for Fishers, with a lot of growth in the area surrounding the new facility. He said roadwork was ongoing, but should improve traffic flow in the long run.
