Women's Wheelchair Basketball 9/19/2026 6:31:00 PM Payton Havermann Five Mavs take part in IWBF Women's Wheelchair Basketball World Championship gold medal game OTTAWA – Five Lady Movin' Mavs — one present and four former — took part in the IWBF Women's Wheelchair Basketball World Championship gold medal game Saturday. Team USA knocked off Canada in a nail-biter by a score of 77-76, rewarding three former Lady Movin' Mavs with a gold while two others took home silver. Rose Hollermann, Zoe Voris and Josie Aslakson are the Lady Movin' Mavs walking away with gold, each of the trio seeing game action in the championship. Hollermann — the most experienced of the bunch in international competition — started the game for Team USA. The 2019 graduate played all 40 minutes, scoring 17 points on an 8-for-13 effort from the field. Hollermann also dished out five assists and turned in an active day on the defensive end, corralling two steals and pulling in five rebounds. The gold medal is Hollermann's first in four attempts at IWBF World Championships. Hollerman also won gold with Team USA at the 2016 Rio Paralympic games.
