A former Beverly Hills deputy fire chief was arrested on suspicion of stalking and vandalism after police linked him to a series of alleged incidents at city facilities.
Alfred Poirier, 63, of Santa Clarita was arrested Monday after multiple acts of vandalism were discovered in Beverly Hills, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.
Detectives identified Poirier, a former Beverly Hills Fire Department employee, as a suspect during their investigation. He was arrested on suspicion of stalking and vandalism, police said.

Preliminary information indicates Poirier posted computer-generated images at various city facilities on multiple occasions, though authorities have not disclosed what the images depicted or provided additional details about the alleged stalking.
