-What is one thing you’ve learned from sports that you’ll use for the rest of your life?
I’ve learned that surrounding yourself with people that love and support you makes all the difference. Choosing to have fun and not taking your mistakes too seriously can really impact your game.
-What is something about you that might surprise people who only know you as an athlete?
I love my steak rare.
-What is the best piece of advice a coach has ever given you?
My club coach Alana would always tell me “don’t think”. In volleyball and softball I found this valuable. I used to be someone who would overthink things in a game and I’ve realized how much more enjoyable the game becomes when you let loose.
-If you could relive one game, meet, match, or moment from your high school career, what would it be?
Last year during our first round of conference for volleyball, we played at Lodi and won in five sets. It was a really back and forth game and very competitive. I had so much fun playing and everyone was so exci...
