Franklin Memorial Library has several exciting activities and important dates coming up for the community this fall! The library will host Kids’ History Club on September 28 at 3:30 p.m. The program is geared toward children ages 6–11, but all ages are welcome to attend. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about history in a fun and engaging way. No registration is required.
Halloween fun is also underway at the library! The deadline for the Halloween Coloring & Poem Contest is October 1. The contest is open to all ages, and everyone is encouraged to participate for a chance to win. All entries will be displayed at the library, giving the community a chance to enjoy the creativity of local participants. Winners will be announced on the library’s Facebook page on October 8.
Please note that the library will close early at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, for a staff meeting. Then, on Thursday, October 8, from 3 to 5 p.m., Franklin Memorial Library will host its annual Trunk or Treat! Families are invited to come out for an afternoon of Halloween fun at the library.
