From The Land, a new project blending dark country and gothic rock influences, has announced their debut album and released their first single, "Psalm 2." The single is now available on all streaming platforms alongside a music video, providing an initial preview of the upcoming album, "Stolen Season Part I," scheduled for release on November 21 through 7 Mater, with distribution by The Circle Music.

Founded by Anatoly Pakhalenko, the frontman of the dark folk band Nytt Land, From The Land was conceived in 2025 as a creative outlet for exploring dark country and blues genres. The project embodies a bleak, monochromatic aesthetic reflecting a world weary of chaos and gradually slipping into slumber.
"Psalm 2" draws inspiration from the biblical second psalm, with lyrics that correspond to its themes and melody. The track also features the Mongolian traditional flute, the shoor, paying homage to Pakhalenko's work with Nytt Land.
