Gastro Health, headquartered in Miami, has announced the appointment of Philip Meador as its new Chief Operating Officer, as detailed in a company statement dated August 4. Mr. Meador brings extensive leadership experience from his previous role as Senior Vice President of Operations at Surgery Partners in Brentwood, Tennessee. His career also includes executive positions at Premier in Charlotte, North Carolina; the University of South Alabama Health System in Mobile; and Emory Healthcare in Atlanta. He holds a master's degree in health administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
