Gaza Faces Rising Hunger and Humanitarian Challenges as Aid Efforts Resume

Recent reports indicate that six additional individuals in Gaza have succumbed to hunger and malnutrition within the past day, according to the territory's health authorities. Meanwhile, Israel has announced the approval of a fuel delivery to Gaza amid ongoing humanitarian challenges stemming from nearly two years of conflict. Since the conflict's onset, the total death toll due to starvation and related causes has reached approximately 175, including 93 children, as per official data. Egypt's state-run Al Qahera News reported that two trucks carrying 107 tons of diesel were scheduled to enter Gaza, marking a significant step after Israel had previously imposed strict aid restrictions. Israeli military aid coordination agency COGAT later confirmed that four United Nations fuel tankers had arrived to support hospitals, bakeries, and essential services.
