Shortly after New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo suffered a gruesome dislocation of his right ankle in October 2025, multiple Giants players admitted that it would be "hard" for them to move on from that moment.
More recently, Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart went down with a knee injury this past Monday that will keep him out of action through at least the rest of the regular season. While speaking with reporters on Thursday, Skattebo shared a heartbreaking reaction to the Giants losing Dart.
"Yeah, it sucked," Skattebo said about the Dart injury, per the
[Giants' website.]"I talked to him on the sidelines a little bit, and he's my best friend. So, it's a little emotional for me. It sucked to lose him, but we got to move on. The team has still got a full season left. We've got 15 games minimum left, and it's something we have to battle through and continue to work together as a team."
