Jaxson Dart’s second start this season was halted after just seven plays after the Giants quarterback exited the game due to a knee injury.
On 3rd-and-7 on the Giants’ first drive, Dart took two hits from Rams linebackers Byron Young and Josiah Stewart after firing a deep pass to Theo Johnson that went incomplete. Dart banged his left knee on Stewart after Young hit him first and he grabbed his knee while staying on the ground.

Dart limped off the field on his own power and later walked to the locker room without aid from a cart. The Giants ruled him questionable to return shortly after he left, then officially ruled him out after halftime. However, Giants general manager Joe Schoen told ESPN sideline reporter Laura Rutledge that Dart "is going to be OK.
