The New York Giants may have lost starting quarterback Jaxson Dart for the foreseeable future.
During the first quarter of Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, linebacker Byron Young hit Dart on his right side as he was trying to make a throw from the pocket. It was such an impactful collision that Dart’s legs were undercut by Josaiah Stewart.
Dart immediately went to the ground and grabbed his left knee in pain. The medical staff for the Giants looked at him before he made his way over to the locker room.
Later in the first quarter, ESPN’s camera crew caught a staff member for the Giants talking to John Harbaugh.
Although it can’t be confirmed what was said on the sideline, it sure looks like Harbaugh was told, “He’s going to be out 4-6 weeks.” At leas that’s what the NFL world believes.
If that’s true, Dart would’ve dodged a torn ACL. We’re just not sure if that’s the case though.
