Good Morning America's Somara Theodore finally broke her silence about her on-air status after the recent Weekends update.
The latest GMA Weekends revealed that Leslie Lopez would take over for the weather on Saturdays and Sundays, a role Somara previously held.
The journalist took to social media to thank everyone for their support and concern for her whereabouts.
She revealed: "I have seen the comments, DMs and texts and I am so grateful that I have a village! Love ya'll down!"
After sharing her gratitude for her fans, the star revealed: "Nonetheless and never to worry, I am still with the ABC News family and have transitioned to weekdays on ABC News Live Mon-Fri! I have been in this industry for over 13 years and have only had 16 months working a Mon-Fri schedule."
Somara shared that having her weekends to herself again allows her to spend more time with her family.
The correspondent explained: "I'm officially off on weekends and making the most of the time with what matters most in my life…this nugget and her paw paw!"
