Kevin Sniecinski, a candidate for the Granada Community Services District Board of Directors, has filed a defamation lawsuit against Moss Beach resident Roberta Gelt, alleging she made false statements about his mental health and behavior in private text messages to Half Moon Bay resident David Eblovi.
According to the lawsuit, filed Oct. 23 in San Mateo County Superior Court, Gelt, whom the complaint identifies as licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, sent Eblovi a series of text messages on Oct. 5 and 6 describing Sniecinski as “absolutely certifiably crazy” and claiming he had borderline personality disorder and was a pathological liar.
