The Green Ridge R-8 Board of Education reviewed the district’s MAP and EOC scores during its meeting on Wednesday, October 28.
The board reviewed the data recorded during April’s Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) and end-of-course (EOC) testing. Superintendent Jonathan Petersen reported that Green Ridge’s scores finished near the top of the Kaysinger Conference. He says school administration will now use this data to determine what the district is doing well, and what areas still need improvement.
Petersen says there are some challenges with using this MAP and EOC testing data, the biggest challenge being that these results were recorded six months ago.
The Board of Education also authorized the purchase of a new exterior digital sign for the district. Petersen estimated the new sign would cost just over $20,000. The board then approved the Fiscal Year 2026 Annual Secretary of the Board Report (ASBR) and the district’s 2026 audit.
The board will next meet on Wednesday, November 18.
