Gypsy Rose Blanchard Says Partner & Father Of Her Daughter, Ken Urker, Died Of Drug Overdose, Pays Tribute To ‘Forever Soulmate’

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is mourning the death of her partner, Ken Urker, the father of her young daughter, who was found dead in his Louisiana home on his 34th birthday.

Blanchard said in a statement that she believes Urker died of a drug overdose. “I don’t know if it was intentional or not,” she said. “He was not in a good state of mind lately.”

“I’m in disbelief. I can’t think,” she added. “I’ve screamed until my throat burns.”

Ken Urker’s Cause Of Death

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a residence in Raceland, Louisiana, after receiving a call at 6:15 p.m. on Oct. 1. Urker was found dead upon arrival, and the department said its death investigation is ongoing.

An incident report lists the incident as “drug related,” and police said they found no signs of foul play. An official cause of death has not yet been determined.
