The 2026 Asian Games will see participation from all over Asia when the 20th edition of the multi-sport event is hosted in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
The event is set for 19 September to 4 October 2026, with the sports events taking place in Aichi Prefecture and Nagoya.

How many countries are participating in Asian Games 2026? A total of 45 nations have entered in the 2026 Asian Games.
This number is identical to the previous games held in Hangzhou in 2023 and the number that entered in all the previous five Asian Games starting from 2006.
The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and Aichi-Nagoya have anticipated over 11,000 players along with 6,000 officials taking part in the games.
