In an interview with podcaster Andrew Callaghan uploaded to YouTube, Mr. Biden expressed his motivation to serve. "There’s a significant chance to make a difference right now—without it being overly dramatic," he stated. "Many people are suffering right here in LA, and ordinary individuals can perform heroic acts."
Having received an unconditional pardon from President Biden in December 2024 following a June conviction on gun charges, Hunter Biden has assumed the role of Director of Development at BASTA. The organization emphasizes eviction defense, notably for undocumented communities, without accepting federal funds.
