Four years ago, I asked the people of Northeastern Minnesota to send me to the Senate with a simple promise that I would put the Northland first. That means working with anyone when it helps our region, speaking up when either party gets it wrong, and never forgetting that my job is to deliver for the communities I represent.

When rural ambulance services were approaching a breaking point, I helped lead a bipartisan effort that delivered tens of millions of dollars in emergency support, created a new statewide EMS office, and launched a Sprint Medic program here in northern Minnesota. I have kept pushing for and have secured longer-term funding, because your zip code should never determine whether an ambulance arrives when you need one.
I have fought just as hard for our Northland schools, securing investments in special education, school facilities, and local classrooms.
