Indiana Defensive End Mikail Kamara Named to Walter Camp Player of the Year Watch List

Indiana's standout defensive end Mikail Kamara has been recognized on the prestigious Walter Camp Player of the Year Watch List for the 2025 college football season. This selection highlights Kamara as one of the nation's top players, with only 46 athletes earning this honor and Kamara being the sole representative from Indiana. A preseason All-American, Kamara is among only eight defensive players included in the Watch List. His accolades also include appearances on the Lott Trophy and Bronco Nagurski preseason watch lists, as well as recognition as a second-team preseason All-American by Athlon Sports, Phil Steele, and the Walter Camp Foundation. Last year, Kamara achieved Indiana's 57th All-American honor and was the first Hoosier defensive lineman since 2007 to earn this distinction.
