Indiana Football Alum Dan Feeney Signs with Buffalo Bills in NFL
Former Indiana University offensive lineman Dan Feeney has signed with the Buffalo Bills, marking his next chapter in the NFL. The Bills announced the signing on Monday, also releasing offensive lineman Rush Reimer to make room on the roster. Throughout his college career from 2012 to 2016, Feeney distinguished himself as one of Indiana's most accomplished offensive linemen, starting every game he played—totaling 46 appearances—and allowing just two sacks over 3,355 pass-blocking snaps. He earned two consecutive first-team All-American honors, becoming only the fourth player in school history to achieve this feat. Drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Feeney started 57 consecutive games from his rookie season's second half through his fourth season. His professional journey has also included stints with the New York Jets (2021-2022), Chicago Bears (2023), and Minnesota Vikings (2024), where he participated in numerous games, both as a starter and a reserve. Now at 31 years old and in his ninth NFL season, Feeney joins his fifth team, potentially opening new opportunities for postseason success and professional growth.
