The event showcased the latest developments in nutrient management, equipment innovation, and soil health strategies aimed at advancing strip-tillage practices.
Kicking off the conference, Jerry Hatfield, former director of the USDA Laboratory for Agriculture and the Environment, delivered a keynote emphasizing the importance of strip-till in promoting healthier soils. The session was sponsored by Youngblut Ag. Following this, Elk Point, South Dakota, strip-tiller Joey Hanson shared insights from over 100,000 acres of custom strip-tilling in the Midwest, highlighting successes and challenges.
