Last night in Los Angeles, W Magazine editor-in-chief Sara Moonves joined forces with Loewe creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez to celebrate Emmys Monday with a dinner at Matsuhisa, the Beverly Hills staple led by Nobu Matsuhisa. Chef Nobu, dressed in chef whites, greeted guests as they arrived.
TV’s finest, from Julia Garner to John Mulaney, chatted over rock shrimp tempura and A5 wagyu. The gathering was intimate—and starry. Emmy Rossum, whose latest role in Furious has been earning raves, was the first to arrive. Elle and Dakota Fanning attended together, with plenty to celebrate: For the first time, the sisters are nominees at the same awards show; Elle received two nominations (as a lead actress and as an executive producer) for Margot’s Got Money Troubles, while Dakota received one for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for All Her Fault. Her costar Sarah Snook, also in attendance, is up for best actress for the series as well.
