The Los Angeles Rams will try to get their season back on track Monday night when they host the New York Giants at SoFi Stadium. Los Angeles opened the 2026 campaign with a 27-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne, while the Giants began the John Harbaugh era with a 28-20 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. The Rams face an important early-season test against a New York team that showed it can control the game offensively and limit an opponent’s possessions.
Matthew Stafford and the Rams’ offense will need a much better showing after managing just seven points in Week 1. Puka Nacua was one of the few bright spots, finishing with five catches for 74 yards and providing Los Angeles’ biggest reception of the afternoon with a 41-yard catch that set up the team’s only touchdown. Nacua led the NFL with 129 receptions for 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns last season, and his availability will be crucial as the Rams attempt to rebound.
As of this writing, there is still no definitive confirmation. Nacua is officially listed as questionable for Monday night with a hip injury after missing both Friday and Saturday’s practices.
