Jacksonville Women’s Soccer Recognized for Academic Excellence with National Award

Jacksonville University's women's soccer team has been honored with the United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year, recognizing their exceptional academic achievement. The team achieved a record-high GPA of 3.64, qualifying them for inclusion among the 697 schools nationwide acknowledged for their academic excellence, with 414 of those being women's teams. To earn this distinction, teams must maintain an average GPA above 3.0 throughout the season. Jacksonville's impressive academic performance places them among 151 institutions that set new standards for student-athlete success. The Dolphins are set to begin their 2025-26 season at Southern Oak Stadium on August 14, facing Jacksonville's Edward Waters University at 7 p.m.
