THREE OAKS — The School of American Music (SAM) has announced Jazz Fest 2026: The Art of the Song, a three-day festival (Sept. 18-20) in Three Oaks celebrating the voices, stories, and spirit of jazz through world-class performances, intimate venues, and community connection.
The weekend begins with a special preview screening of the classic jazz film “Paris Blues” on Thursday, September 17 at The Vickers Theatre, 6 North Elm St.
Wildflowers: Kurt Elling with Ben Paterson, is scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday, September 18, at The Acorn Theater 107 Generations Drive Three Oaks.
Elling has been praised by The New York Times as “The standout male jazz vocalist of our time” and by The Guardian as “a kind of Sinatra with superpowers.” Joining him is Steinway Artist Ben Paterson, celebrated for his soulful touch, joyful swing, and deep roots in both jazz and blues, having performed with jazz legends and earned international acclaim.
Guests can elevate their evening with an exclusive 6 p.m. VIP Reception at 111 North Elm Street, Three Oaks.
