The Jackson County Economic Development Partnership (JCEDP) has announced the appointment of Matthew Large as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, marking a new chapter for the organization and its economic-development efforts throughout Jackson County and Southern Ohio.
Large brings nearly two decades of professional experience in financial management, business development, purchasing, budgeting, credit management, leadership and community engagement.
His professional background includes serving as Credit Manager, Bid Coordinator and Buyer with Valley Wholesale Foods; Purchasing and Budget Manager with The Scioto County Counseling Center; and Branch Manager, Business Development Officer and Assistant Vice President with Town Square Bank.
Large holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Shawnee State University and a Master of Arts in Business Administration from Emmanuel Baptist University. His professional experience also includes extensive work in budgeting, financial analysis, purchasing, bid coordination, business development, team leadership and community engagement.
