Dutch artist Jespfur – the creative project of composer and musician Jesper Vervoort – will release his sophomore album ‘Iftangible’ on October 9th via 10k Global.
‘Iftangible’ is Jespfur’s first new music since his 2024 debut, ‘Pedestrians of Bright Silence’, released via 10k, which is the label home to MIKE, Sideshow, Anysia Kym, Niontay, and SALIMATA.
The new 10-track work sees Jespfur transformed, channeling loss and upheaval into a collection of electroacoustic anthems, orchestral experiments, and abstract noise pieces laced with pithy lyrics from the abyss between dreams and reality.
Unfolding like a travelogue against the backdrop of a severe housing crisis, the album traces the journey of a life in transit while establishing a shared language for making sense of ourselves in a constantly shifting world.
Jespfur says: “I became fascinated with the idea [that] the album was creating my home.”
The work has a topographic feel, exploring community and isolation, drifting from sublet to sublet and occupying different rooms and locations across Los Angeles, Amsterdam, and his native village of Stiphout.
