Reporters from CNN, MS Now, and Politico have been denied access to the White House.
They had their media badges taken away on Saturday when they showed up at the White House to do their jobs.
So they stood across the street to report.
The ban was imposed by President Donald Trump, escalating a pattern of trying to restrict coverage by journalists he finds objectionable.
It's expected to be the latest test of First Amendment protections.
Erie's Steve Scully, who served on the board of the White House Correspondents' Association for nine years, including as president, shared his reaction with me this afternoon.
He believes journalists will prevail, but says this restrictive trend affects more than just covering the White House.
