It happened last week against Kentucky, when the Crimson Tide fell behind 17-13 at halftime before rallying with a 32-0 second half against the Wildcats. It obviously happened in blowout losses in the postseason to Indiana and Georgia last year. It also happened in the opening round of the College Football Playoff against Oklahoma, where Alabama fell behind 17-0 before rallying to a 34-24 win.
And on Saturday at home against a Florida State team that embarrassed the Crimson Tide in Tallahassee a year ago, and as nearly three-touchdown favorites, it happened again.
Florida State jumped on Alabama 21-6 midway through the second quarter. A Keelon Russell touchdown pass to Cederian Morgan with 2:36 to go in the half trimmed the FSU lead to 21-13 before a second lightning delay sent the teams to the locker room just as the Crimson Tide looked to be gaining a little bit of momentum.
