The milestone caps three years of work with Alpine Project, a sustainability consultancy for the advertising industry, which has helped Kargo measure, track, reduce, and offset its emissions year over year since 2024. With that data now in hand, Kargo has set the following near-term targets:
Reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions 42% by 2030, from a 2024 base year Reduce absolute scope 3 emissions from fuel and energy related activities 100% within the same timeframe Ensure 76.4% of Kargo’s suppliers (measured by emissions and covering both purchased goods and services, as well as waste generated in operations and travel) have their own science-based targets by 2030
