Kherson Evacuation Operations Accelerate After Infrastructure Damage
Efforts to Evacuate Kherson Residents Intensify Following Damage to Key Infrastructure In response to recent hostilities, authorities in Kherson have initiated a coordinated evacuation operation from the Korabelnyi district. The regional military administration reported that thirty-five vehicles, operated by municipal agencies, volunteer groups, and law enforcement, are actively assisting residents in leaving the area. This deployment aims to address the challenges posed by damaged transportation links, notably the destroyed bridge connecting the city to the Korabelnyi neighborhood, which was hit during recent attacks. Approximately fifty evacuation requests have been received and are currently being processed. Individuals are being relocated to designated safe zones equipped with accommodations, with special medical supervision provided for residents with mobility limitations.
