Kimmel: Iowa Would Rather Have a Guy in a Ventilator than His Republican Opponent

‘This tells you all you need to know about how this election played out for Republicans’

RUSH EXCERPT:

KIMMEL: "This tells you all you need to know about how this election played out for Republicans. In Iowa, a state that went for Trump three times — not only did they pick a Democrat for governor and senator, a guy named Eric armstrong won a seat in the state legislature despite the fact that he wasn’t running.

[Laughter] He suspended his campaign in September due to illness. He dropped out and still won.

[Laughter] People were like, “you know what? We’D rather have a guy on a ventilator.”

[Applause] “than the Republican candidate.”"
