Kontron Reports Significant Financial Growth
Kontron announced a significant rise in its net income for the first half of the year, reaching 88.9 million euros compared to 37.9 million euros in the same period last year. Earnings per share improved to 1.45 euros from 0.61 euros. The company's operating profit, or EBITDA, surged by 78.2%, totaling 146.0 million euros, with the EBITDA margin expanding to 18.7% from 10.5%.
Updated Fiscal Year 2025 Outlook
Additionally, Kontron has increased its EBITDA forecast for the fiscal year 2025. The projected revenue has been adjusted to approximately 1.80 billion euros, down from previous estimates of 1.90 to 2.00 billion euros, mainly due to the deconsolidation of the COM business. The EBITDA target has been raised to at least 270 million euros, up from the earlier guidance of a minimum of 220 million euros.
