OWENSBORO, Ky. — KY VALOR & Vision: Honoring Leadership and Building Workforce Opportunity will be held Monday from 9 to 11:45 a.m. CDT at the Green River Area Development District, 300 GRADD Way, Owensboro.
The event is free and will celebrate Kentucky state Rep. DJ Johnson while bringing together regional workforce representatives, community leaders, local businesses and veterans for a morning of recognition, connection and discussion.
The event will begin with a light breakfast and coffee from 9 to 9:20 a.m., followed by an awards and celebration program honoring Johnson from 9:20 to 10 a.m.
A veteran workforce panel discussion will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by networking from 11 to 11:45 a.m.
